Anna Tougai
Anna juggles a career in Finance and strategy consulting with a passion for art. While these fields may seem miles apart, they are not that different, as they are both fuelled by curiosity and a drive for exploration. "Both in art and at work, I dedicate time to developing new ideas, testing fresh approaches, and adapting to whatever comes my way. Again, in both it is all about the ability to make step back and check whether what you are doing aligns with your vision and goal, embracing the surprises along the journey".
Anna has graduated from Serov Art School, Moscow, and apart from a degree in international economics, she has a Diploma in Art Management, which is an area of passion and blends her love for art with business studies. She was recognised by the ArtWeek fair in 2021 and 2022, as well as exhibited in Brussels, Moscow and London with her artworks in watercolours, oil and acrylic.
Creating in impressionist, illustrative-style images brought by imagination, the artist wishes to empower her desire to trigger positive thinking and reconsideration of the world around us, of the subconscious depth and importance of each and every one, allowing the audience to make their own valuable, thoughtful judgement and hoping that this will make the world a slightly better place
"Art is an alternative way to connect with others and with self, challenging the default, appreciating that there is no right or wrong but being sincere in what actually "clicks" and resonates, creating a chain reaction".

still life with a twist
Inspired by the beauty and the subtle symbolism of the insignificant, odd, irrational and imperfect. The everyday traces and patterns, senseless moments of stillness in serenity or idle panic. We too become static, speechless objects, allowing consciousness to travel, while the surroundings are telling a story
