Tatiana Fetisova, born in Russia, combines a unique blend of analytical and artistic skills. With a master’s degree in Mathematical Statistics, she began her career in tech, using data to understand the world. Her travel experience across more than 35 countries added depth to her perspective and inspired her art.
Now living in London, Tatiana works as a full-time artist, using oil paints on canvas to explore the complexities of human beings. Her work reflects themes such as the fragility of the world, the nature of emotions, and self-reflection. Blending her analytical background with deep emotional insight, she seeks to understand people and life itself, exploring both the fleeting and profound aspects of our existence.

“Sheepish”, Oil on Canvas, 50 x 55 cm
This artwork, titled 'Sheepish,' captures the concept of embarrassment as a mental burden through its unique depiction of a sheep made of bubbles. The bubbles symbolise the swollen nature of our thoughts, particularly when we feel exposed or bashful. The sheep's gentle gaze and subtle smile convey a sense of shyness, aligning with the artwork's theme of vulnerability hidden beneath the surface. 'Sheepish' invites us to reflect on the internal struggles that often go unnoticed, highlighting how our own overthinking can amplify our feelings of embarrassment.

“Parroting”, Oil on Canvas, 60 x 60 cm
"Parroting" is a thought-provoking oil painting that delves into the themes of imitation and superficiality in contemporary culture. The artwork presents a vividly rendered parrot intricately composed of balloons. This choice of medium is symbolic, reflecting the ephemeral and fragile nature of social identities formed in the digital age. The parrot, a creature known for its ability to mimic sounds without understanding their meaning, serves as a powerful metaphor for the human tendency to echo popular opinions and trends spreading out through social media. The work invites audiences to reflect on their own interactions and the authenticity of the voices they choose to replicate in their lives.

“Cockiness”, Oil on Canvas, 60 x 60 cm
"Cockiness" is an oil painting that employs the image of a rooster, traditionally a symbol of renewal and vigilance, crafted entirely from balloons. The rooster heralds the morning, symbolising the relentless arrival of new opportunities each day. This painting captures the essence of hope and the continuous cycle of beginnings that each sunrise promises, it embodies the spirit of anticipation and the readiness to face new challenges with courage and optimism.
Uncertainty and Fragility. The rooster in this piece is crafted from balloons, symbolising the unpredictable and often fragile nature of our future. Just as a balloon holds the potential to soar or to burst, each decision and action we take carries possibilities that could dramatically reshape our tomorrow.
